I made the jump today to Windows 10 and like many other legacy mobility card users the support isn't there yet , besides the drivers which are automatically installed by Windows. Therefore, I thought I'd make a quick guide of how I got the legacy drivers installed on my laptop and have the Catalyst Control Center up and running. I only installed the Display Driver and Catalyst Control Center, incase anyone is wondering if it will work. Fail Version of Item: The generic Win 10 driver sucks really bad. Unfortunately, that path leads me and my poor old Radeon x series card to the Blue-Screen-Of-Death each time I tried doing that. The procedure I had worked out a few posts back still works though simplified. The only way I can get the driver to work is to manually install it.
