Conexant Smartaudio Hd Driver Windows 10 Free Download Install Update
My graphic card is a Nvidia Geforce GS that includes no sound. The sound does work on the laptop with a Win Vista Driver but I have the sense that due to this Vista Driver, a bluescreen appears.
So can I use this driver nevertheless? However, I have installed a Microsoft driver from but it only works after a reboot. If the laptop goes on standby, there is no sound anymore.
Is there any solution? This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. There are possibilities that not all the drivers may be compatible with Windows However, you refer to the computer manufacturer's support website and check if there is any update on the sound driver and its compatibility with latest operating system it could be Windows 8. There could be a possibility of any third party software conflict as you have to restart the computer in order to hear the sound.
I would suggest you to place the computer in clean boot state and check. To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot. Placing your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.
Refer " How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting " to reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting.

Sorry this didn't help. Sound was working perfectly until the upgrade. I'm thinking Windows 10 does not play well with Conexant. I have the same problem on my Dell Vostro , solution: I have the same problem on my Toshiba Satellite M I tried installed downloaded driver, but Windows 10 blocked the installation as the digital signature cannot be verified.
Thanks for the advice, but there isn't a choice for me to ignore. Windows 10 just told me that the installation was blocked. Playback Devices - select Conexant - Configure. The speaker test produced an error message popup with no code or usable info. Going to Properties - Advanced and clearing the checkbox for 'Enable Audio Enhancements' resolved it.
This worked for me too I have a Toshiba satellite and had to check the "Disable all enhancements" button before I could get any sound. Tell us about your experience with our site.

asus conexant smart audio hd driver windows 10
I bit the bullet and tried the Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7 on my older laptop. Everything seems to work except the headphone jack. I've tried the latest version of the Conexant driver I could find 4. The Windows driver at least shows 'Headphones' in the playback list but with both drivers Windows fails to detect when the headphone plug is inserted into the jack - status is always 'Not plugged in'. The Windows troubleshooting tool is useless for this - actually causes the sound to stop working altogether while proclaiming that it has fixed my problem. I understand that after upgrading to Windows 10, the system cannot recognize headphones plugged in.
